Reliance Jio has introduced the JioTag Air, the advanced version of last year's JioTag. This new tracker boasts compatibility with Apple’s Find My network, enhancing its compatibility compared to its predecessor which only worked with the JioThings app.

The JioTag Air is designed to help users locate valuables such as keys, wallets, ID cards, luggage, pets, and other frequently misplaced items. It features a thin, compact design and is made from durable polycarbonate material. The device operates with both iOS and Android devices, supporting iPhones running iOS 14 and above and Android devices with Android 9 and above.
Equipped with Bluetooth 5.3, the JioTag Air ensures efficient wireless tracking. It includes a built-in speaker capable of emitting loud sounds ranging from 90 to 120 dB, making it easier to locate lost items. Users can choose to pair the device with either the Apple Find My or the JioThings app.
Tracking and Compatibility
For Android users, the JioTag Air pairs with the JioThings app, allowing direct tracking of tagged items. Apple users can link the device with the Apple Find My app, which continuously sends low-power Bluetooth signals detectable by nearby iPhones, iPads, and Macs. These devices then send the JioTag Air’s location to iCloud, enabling users to track their items on a map.
The JioTag Air also supports sharing tagged items with other Apple users via the Find My app. The Lost Mode feature sends automatic notifications to the paired Apple device when the lost item is detected within the Apple Find My network.
