About SDMY Degree College :

SDMY Degree College also know as Sonia Devi Mishri Yadav Degree College (सोनिया देवी मिश्री यादव डिग्री महाविद्यालय) is Affiliated under Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU), aims to provide high quality education. It is situated in remote rulal area where bihar(banka) boarder ends with Jharkhand. And due to its location students from rural area prefer this college, with minimum fees and qualification, it's best college for persuing Under-graduations (Ba, BSc & BCom).

History of SDMY Degree College :

S.D.M.Y. Degree College, Dhoraiya situated in banka was established by Shaheed Basudev Yadav in year 1985, with the vision to empower boy's and girls' coming from backward, downtrodden & financially weak class.

S.D.M.Y. Degree college comes with pretty good labs facilities for students like Zoology lab, Botany lab, Physics lab, Chemistry lab, Mathematics lab, Geography lab & many more. This laboratory is not fully equipped but, yes it has some pretty good labs.

Every year TMBU releases Academic/Examination Calendar on the behalf of the College, which SDMY Degree College has to follow and provide help to  students gets an idea about on which particular dates Exam forms starts filling or from when Exams is going to happen or when will Result published. And the main reason is for running Academic year on time.

Exams & Results :

Exams and Result is always in time, college conduct internal exams before final exam starts by University for addition of marks in final results. Afterwards students has to visit offline exam center for final exam (exam centers are provided in admit card & distributed by SDMY). The publication of final results by TMBU is also proceed in time both online or Offline mode.

Admission in S.D.M.Y. Degree College, Dhoraiya :

In SDMY Degree College, Admission take place at the starting of Academic year through Four Year Under Graduation Policy according to New Education Policy (CBCS:Choice Based Credit System). Interested students can apply both online & offline mode as suggested by college. For now Admission take place by merit basis, but comming year every student will have to qualify entrance exam conduct by TMBU for seeking admission in SDMY.
